Saturday Afternoon Competition in the North West!
February 7th update:
Hi everyone,
Please note that the Safeguarding Children – Code of Conduct and the Club Resources Kit from Tennis Australia are now available via the Information (INFO) bar.
We expect all clubs to have these policies in place. While the NSTA is not exclusively a junior competition, participation is not limited strictly to players over 18 (within reason). As such, safeguarding responsibilities still apply, and all clubs must treat this matter seriously within the NSTA competition.
Clubs are encouraged to review the available resources and ensure appropriate policies and practices are in place to support a safe, respectful, and inclusive tennis environment for all participants.
** Please continue to note we will be really asking clubs to ensure all players - have their Competitive player profile already sorted before they play or they must be at least completed ASAP. This makes sorting out emergency players so much easier.
Please also ensure - unspecified players are at least at a minimum listed in comments below results.

Who We Are…
The North Suburban Tennis Association runs a popular community tennis competition across Melbourne’s northern and western suburbs, with club teams competing on Saturday afternoons (1pm) throughout the playing seasons (e.g., Autumn and Spring). Matches are organised into divisions where players compete in singles and doubles rubbers during a match - that contribute to their club’s ladder position and, for many players, can also count towards their Universal Tennis Rating (UTR).
The competition is open to adult and junior players alike, is a flexible format of OPEN gender and local clubs from around the region enter teams to enjoy regular match play.
NSTA fosters a strong community atmosphere, encouraging players of all abilities—from competitive league hopefuls to those just looking for regular tennis and fitness—to be involved.
The NSTA has a long and proud history that dates back to the early 1940’s.
